The Russel can be worn as a backpack, but with the simple change of the latch system and a pull on the strap, can be instantly converted to a shoulder strap bag. The latch system also allows for different length straps if so desired. A shoulder strap or a handbag strap length, or a backpack with dual shoulder straps.
